Such a bummer that Giannis can’t play. He would be putting up 50 a game against these guys. Instead we are going to have to deal with Fat Windy talking about how he needs to ask for a trade all offseason

To be fair we haven’t been fully healthy since 2019. Even that year Brogdon was hurt

I think it’s best for everybody’s mental health to assume Giannis is not playing this series.

No Giannis, hobbled Middleton. Just sit Dame too and punt this game before he ends up on the injury report too.

You don't punt playoff games.

David Guthrie, Ed Malloy, Karl Lane officiating. They're decent.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

The Bucks will show fight and put some doubt into the minds of these upstarts.

Somehow a 4:30 tip on an alternate channel feels right for this one.

What disrespect they have beaten us 5 out of 7 so far spsnked us game 2 now its game 3 on the road without giannis n maybe without midds i think 6 points is showing us respect

As a Pacers fan the games they "should win" are the games they have performed the poorest throughout the season. I'm not sure if it has been the youth of the team or what. Maybe the atmosphere or the playoffs can change that narrative, but it has plagued this team all year. I think the Bucks have the ability to muck things up which is not advantageous for the Pacers.

It is great for the Pacers but I hate that Giannis is unable to go. We lived through that on a smaller scale with PG and VO (can't compare them to Giannis) several years ago and it just plain sucks. The Bucks have kind of been my adopted 2nd favorite team for some time. The most fun I've ever had at an NBA game was sitting by Squad Six that had made a road trip to Indy. I know I've told that story in here before but it is why I enjoy popping in from time to time when the Pacers and my adopted Bucks square off.

Cheers tonight. Bad night for the livers in Indiana and Wisconsin as the game will lead into the draft. Good news is we should be feeling good enough by the third round we are going to love every pick.

Snakebitten season. The whole idea of acquiring Dame was that A) You'd reduce the offensive load on Giannis and theoretically have him fresher for the long playoff run, and B) Having two offensive superstars meant that you could weather a Middleton injury much easier than in 2022. If two of our three best guys are out/hobbled for the postseason, then no amount of "youth" and roster tweaking was ever gonna save this season anyways.

Cursed season. Gotta start having some discussions about Giannis being injury prone and it taking away from his legacy

Seriously, don't worry. We are like a 20 win team without Giannis and hobbled Khris

100%. hes been down 4 out of the last 5 not mention all season long you could make a case he should be handled like khris was this year for his chronic nagging issues. it just is what it is. the seasons are far too long and injuries determine outcomes every single year. at least they make a **** ton of money for themselves over an 82 game season and our one chip injuries worked dynamically for us

2019 healthy, 2020 hurt, 2021 hurt (during the title run), 2022 healthy, 2023 hurt, 2024 hurt.

Giannis has 2 clean bills of health since 2019 in the playoffs in the past 6 seasons including now. I think finishing top 4 in MVP consideration all 6 of those seasons has skewed ppls opinion about how many playoff games he’s actually missed in the same time span.

There were concerns earlier in Giannis’s career that his go hard all 82 games mentality could become problematic later on in his career and it’s certainly held true. I’m not sure what to say or do about it but it definitely sucks he’s been more unavailable than available over the years when it matters most.

We didn't have a good run of health in 2021!

Injuries happen when you have an aging swingman prone to dings, an aggressive all-world player who often is best defended by legally submarining him and an assortment of old vets.

Not intended to single you out, but this is a sore spot for me when it comes to national writers. When there's injury history, you have to factor it in when making predictions.

It's April and Kawhi Leonard is hurt? Oh word?

Yep, I'm just happy the stars aligned and we got one. Winning a title in Milwaukee is no joke. This ain't the year though, Khris getting injured twice in the 1st quarter last game was the cherry on top for me.

I've conceded defeat but will happily be proven wrong. This year has been miserable and it's just too late and too daunting to flip it around now.

Let's just toss the ball up and see what these guys are made of. It's the Pacers, they're good but they're not THAT talented.

We're gonna find out whether it's will or ability with a lot our guys in the next few games +.

Loads and loads and loads of Dame PnR with Brook. Don't think we can win with Lopez camped out at the 3 pt line.
