Seriously what a great win. If we lose in game 6 so be it, I won't be happy about that but I will feel better this team fought hard without Giannis and Dame. Gives me hope for next year.

This is a Profound point (pun intended). The ability and willingness to change both offensive and defensive schemes mid game is so important.

And it's not easy, because the practice time for different schemes is miniscule. Some coaches haves base schemes that they run no matter what, with few variations. You can get very good at those schemes if that's all you practice.

But when you run into teams that have success against those schemes, you have little to turn to.

Looking forward to watching the 4th quarter. Just get one of Dame or Giannis back for 6 and we'll have a real shot at this series.

Asking for Pat Bev.

2nd apron is projected at 189 and we're at just under 183 with 10 players under contract, so, barring cost cutting moves, yes.

We'll offer Pat Bev the maximum 2-yr $6 mil deal with a player option and I can't see him not accepting it. Dude wants to win a ring and there's no better place to cap off his career than here. Don't make the same mistake you made with PJ.

A fun win but it felt like a classic "moral victory" (in the context of the series as a whole) where everything goes right but none of it is sustainable. I hope that game doesn't influence any roster decisions this offseason.

Agree. I hope no one with decision-making power is looking at that game and thinking our "others" are fine. Everybody who played last night can GTFO if it makes my favorite team better.

Read this as 2 yr, 36 and didn’t blink an eye with how NBA contracts are going.

Just noticed yesterday, but what the hell is wrong with Siakam's ft% ?
He's shooting worse than Giannis in this series so far, so maybe we can foul the **** out of him if he gets a clean look?
So far, in 5 games played he's shot 26 free throws and he's only made 12 for a 46.2ft% .

Feels like Thanasty could get some of those Brook/center minutes. Even just the last couple minutes of each quarter.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

Was that the best our defense has looked in the playoffs, outside our base scheme, since the Phoenix series when we started switching on the perimeter and took away their 3pt attempts?

Well I agree roster decisions shouldn't be based on one game, but many of you want to make roster decisions based on two stars not being able to play. That's even worse.

Again, the Bucks have a bad bench, but so does almost every other team.

If the two are out again, the Bucks will lose. Stars win games in the long run. Run it back next year and figure out how to manage Dame,KM and Giannis's injuries.

Some of the shots were so bad they looked like he was trying to miss on purpose to one side.

Makes up for him turning into prime KD from mid-range the first 2-3 games. Pretty crazy to think we'd be up 3-2 right now if we just got the normal version of Siakam.

Playing defense isn't sustainable?

He looks BUSTED, too. He's missing a different way every time.

He's a far better shooter than Giannis in general, but legitimately has the yips at the line right now.

Yup, very fun win but moving on from a few guys is important unless we get further. And even then it’s still probably time. But the time for that will come, I’m just enjoying whatever we have left.

I'm still not expecting a series win here until I see Giannis and/or Dame pull a Willis Reed and come storming out that tunnel. The Pacers should close this one out back home, but man, this MASH unit of a team out-playing these dudes so far in this series is just as big of an indictment on Indiana's core/future. Haliburton ain't that Alpha dude that can takeover games, and the rest of their core pieces outside of Mathurin really aren't that young. They're a long ways a way from being anything close to legit contenders. Their ceiling seems more like one of those late-2000's Hawks teams.

PatBev was +36 playing with another injury. Taking anti-inflammatory meds for his obliques. This guy is a savage.
