I see where you're coming from and I think what you're saying is fair.

I think Dallas would definitely do a lottery protected 09 pick and I think we would consider Redd and this year's 2nd round pick. Throw them both into the deal and I think it's definitely accepted by Dallas.

I'd have to pass. I don't wan to see the Bucks trade a future first unless it was part of a deal to bring back a superstar. Howard's a fine player and he would be a huge upgrade for the Bucks at SF but he isn't a superstar.

I'm fine with trading Redd for Howard straight up, but I agree with Luke, adding in this years lottery pick or Yi is too much. Howard is a great SF, and he plays D, but there just not that much of a disparity in talent between the two.

Because we are sick and tired of Mike and Mavs could be sick and tired of Josh. Mostly, chemistry related

I'd just offer Redd even up for Howard/Stack. If the Mav's don't want to do it, then I'd move on.

I'd love Howard, but we already have salary tied up in Dez and Bobby that we have to dump.

So it looks like we can agree on:

Redd/ '08 2nd round pick

for

Josh Howard and Stackhouse

Looks like that would be a very good deal for both teams.

Sign me up.

Redd/2nd for Howard/Stackhouse
Mo for Haslem/Cook (I've finally come around on this, even though I think we lose talent-wise in the deal)
CV/Mason for Mike Miller
Draft Westbrook

PG: Sessions/Westbrook/Bell
SG: Miller/Stackhouse/Cook
SF: Howard/Simmons
PF: Yi/Haslem
C: Bogut/Gadzuric

The other option is moving CV for Warrick and Lowry, Mo for Childress/Zaza and playing Howard at 2, but I'd rather have a sniper there, that is why I go after Miller, who I think would be a great fit next to Josh Howard.

I hadn't seen this one before and I like it. Actually of all these off-season plans that are even semi-realistic, I think I like this one the best.

You get scoring with Miller and Howard. You get defense and bulk with Haslem. And you keep Bogut/Yi/Sessions and our #7 pick which I'd really like to do under all of these team re-make proposals.

Edit: If Miami would give us Haslem and Cook for Mo, that would be a steal on our part IMO. I can't see them tossing in Cook.

I think Miller is an underrated player. He's not going to score 25 most nights, but he is a very good passer, can really shoot from deep, and just knows how to play basketball. CV/Mason for Miller is definitely a deal I'd look at, and think Memphis would do since CV is on a rookie scale and Mason is expiring, they are looking to keep salaries low.

You're probably right on Cook, thought I'd throw it in there anyway.

I agree on Mike Miller. He'd be great to have. The GF version of Lamar Odom.

I agree on Miller. And where your plan really works IMO is that you get back that "Redd-lite" scorer to replace him. We've all been fixated on CV for Lowry/Warrick that I hadn't thought of the Miller/CV idea.

Sign me up. That would be a fun team to watch.

We still have the MLE under your plan as well, so we could make a run at Diop for backup center or sign Duhon and use the #7 on a big (Love/Lopez/Randolph/Jordan) if we wanted.
