How is it that the one guy that can actually read between the lines and figure out what Wichmae is talking about is the one that isnt a native speaker of English? Im amazed by that.
At least someone picked up on Wichmaes hints nice job Sigra.

The Bucks won't trade up...more likely to deal out...that's my prediction;).

Sigra is a brilliant dude. He saw the Michael Redd Godfather thing a year ahead of time.

I can't go all the way back but who was the poster that wichmae quoted and what was his deal?

I hope you are right. I mean if we have to wait five years for Alexander to develop into a good role player, its going to be a long rebuilding process.

I would prefer to go with Bogut, Yi, Prince, Redd, and Mo, or better yet Bogut, Yi, G.Wallace, Redd and Mo.

I could actually watch those teams.

The poster was aaprigs311 and he said this: "Trade Mo/CV for a banger. I think that's our best shot at contending now rather than down the road. I think we've all had enough of the waiting game. I hope whatever trade is made helps us NOW."

wichmae bolded this "I hope whatever trade is made helps us NOW"

Trading for a proven vet has been my No. 1 hope for the draft since lotto night. If Ilhan is correct and wichmae is talking about a trade involving the 8th pick and a player like Prince or Jefferson I'm driving the bandwagon there.

Villanueva/8/Dez for Prince/29

All aboard. :)

I'd prefer CV/Dez/8 for RJ/21 then take Speights or Douglas-Roberts at 21.

I'd prefer Prince because he's significantly better defensively but I'd sign off on this trade as well. Either one would work for me.

I'll take Prince over RJ. Healthier and a better defender.

Not all of my old people are gone my friend  ....actually anything can happen at this point....sooooooo many people want to deal, just a gut feeling that this team needs vets to win and I think Hammond wants to win now......now if everyone likes the deals being bantered about, thats another story.

Nice posts Sigra!

It will be interesting to look at come Thursday night.

I tend to agree that a trade of our pick and a player is very likely. I have been in favor of that from the get go. Whether its to move up and take a shot at a player or to take an established veteran.

CV, 8 and Mason for Prince? Hmmmm.

At first I was like, duh. Then I thought about it and just for grins took a look at his stats. They really aren't that good. Now I know he is a good player and a great defender, but man that's quite a bit to give up. Not sure. I really like Prince and in the end he is likely the best player in the deal. An ideal fit for us.

I'd be very disappointed if we take on RJ's big contract without dumping any of our bad contracts. That deal's a no-brainer for the Nets IMO, and puts us in the luxury tax in 09/10 probably.

I can't see it being Tayshaun. It seems like both guys (Dumars/Hammond) would not necessarily want Hammond's first deal to be with each other. And in the same division. The pick/Dez/Simmons for RJ could be plausible IMO.

I have mixed feeling on Prince. For one we are beyond horrible at the SF position and Prince is a good defender. On the other hand, though, I think Prince's play is overrated by the team he's on. That team is laced with strong veterans in Billups, Sheed, and McDyss. The team as a whole is good defensive team, which more than likely makes Prince a better defender than he actually is. Put him with this sorry ass team and his D won't seem quite as good.

I don't think a trade for Prince will happen either. I agree it's unlikely Dumars and Hammond would make a major move like that with one another. But it's fun to dream.

I'd really prefer to go after Josh Howard. He can defend and fill it up.

For a trade that would probably tick most everyone off here in some respect one might be Redd/8 for Josh Howard/Stackhouse/Brandon Bass.

Hammond has said a couple times he would not feel comfortable dealing with Joe at this point in time and I understand that completely. I also think that Dumars wants to make a big splash if he deals Prince and the Bucks don't have that big splash player.
