Shaun Livingston

If the Clippers aren't planning on re-signing Livingston, is it worth it for the Bucks to go after him? He seems like someone the Bucks could sign rather cheaply and he could develop into someone who is pretty good. The potential is still there for him, it would seem like a good low risk/high reward scenario. It also seems that he cant really hurt our point guard situation.

Though a lot of teams might be going after him this offseason. What is the maximum amount you all would be willing to pay him? I would probably put the ceiling at 2 or 3 million for him, but that would also depend on who else we target to use the MLE on.

i would think if mo gets traded, you go for him to be your backup point guard behind ramon but i dont see it happening he just doesn't seem durable enough

I like the kid and he's only 22. But I wouldn't pay a whole lot and I doubt he'd want to come here.

He has to go through 90 minutes of therapy before he can even PRACTICE. I doubt he plays at all this year...

Not a bad idea. HUGE health risk though. I think he's from Peoria or something so playing in Milwaukee may not be that big of a deal.

He's a good defender/distributor and will be available cheap. He'd fit well with Redd/Jefferson. HIs injury concerns are astronomical though. I'd go for him if he was dirt cheap and his contract was insured and every precaution of that nature was taken. I wonder if he'd be different if he spent some time in college.

My guess is 2 failed comeback attempts and never another meaningful minute of NBA basketball.

The guy's played something like 140 games in 4 NBA seasons. He needs an hour of stretching before a 30 minute workout. He's done. Sorry to sound cold.

Shaun's injury was just nasty, I don't know if he ever comes out of it but I'd love to give him a shot depending on how the market shapes up with LAC letting him go.

Just to add, Shaun was a freak because of how quick he was for his height. If that quickness is lost, so too will his ability to play PG. Take that away, and he's a pretty poor basketball player.

Obviously, I wish him the best, but I think he needs to think about his long term health and mobility here too.

I'd love to have a healthy Livingston on this team because if I'm not mistaken, he is one of the best defenders at the position in the league.

Too bad a healthy Livingston is probably an oxymoron at this point.

i think we should sign him to a cheap contract. try him out in summer leugue and see how he does. if he does good we start him off with 10 mpg. if he continues to get better and doesn't show any signs of more injury or durability issues we gradually increase his minutes. if he eventually starts to get 20 mpg or more we trade mo for a power forward or center
