To put his standing reach into perspective, Bogut's was 9' 2½". Ersan definitely has the length and speed to cover NBA 4s. His bulk may be the only problem as of now, but it isn't a big problem.

Yep and he's much stronger now than he was back then.

Not sure if this matters much in regards to Ersan, but just throwing it out there.

FC Barcelona just signed a Small Forward from DKV Joventut, Lubos Barton
Joventut was one of the better teams this past season and Barton played a significant role averaging about 8.5 pgg and 5 rpg for them. Now Barcelona has him at Small Forward as well as Fran Vasquez and Jordi Trias at Power Forward, with David Andersen who can play some PF as well

This signing could mean nothing though, and that Barcelona just needed some depth at Small Forward anyways, or maybe the signing occurred because they don't think Ersan is coming back? :dontknow:
