well...looking through the FA's....i'm guessing this guy is unrestricted if it seems like the only question is if he'll sign, and if he does he's on the team, no hint at the possibility of another team matching, etc.

the only athletic 4's i know of that fit the bill are indeed Birdman and Haislip....the way it's worded has me thinking Haislip though

I know! Tractor Traylor

Oh wait - you said athletic 4, not fat POS. And apparently the Cavs wanted him on Summer League team.

I'd go with the Birdman.

Could be. Although Stro would probably want more than the minimum and I don't see us using a portion of our MLE on him. I could see giving a minimum contract to somebody like Birdman or throwing the full MLE at a possible starting PF, but I don't know about paying 2-3+ million for a guy who is a backup PF and not much better than a minimum contract-level player. Maybe Hammond wants Stromile to be Kenyon Martin next to Jefferson, who knows.

Maybe its Emeka Okafor and The Bobcats are making a run at Josh Smith?!

Time to party!

Now that i think about it more, i doubt it would be Birdman. I can't see Hammond going for a guy like him, his antics off the court would be a big no no, and his on court production is pretty poor as well. Hammond's made the point of bringing in people who will assist in the culture change, and Birdman flying high in the sky will not help.

Oh Lord please let this be true....Then and only then could you start printing playoff tickets next year for sure and get out of the first round perhaps!

He would be absolutely PERFECT...next to Bogut and Alexander and RJ! He would balance us out up front superbly.

Emeka Okafor would be perfect. But I can't see this because he is a Larry Brown type player...But this would be a godsend and miracle.

I'll give people a couple of hints; it's a player who may have previously played against the Bucks and done something, they may have also played a little bit of college ball.

Yes MBBOT, Emeka Okafor has decided to take a massive paycut to sign with the BUCKS.
