OK, so I've changed my answer 10 times in this thread

It's Kwame Brown.

Better just prepare myself.

Not happy about it at all, but he will become the new whipping boy on this board.

I can give you numerous reasons, but the main one is probably because they are told not to give specific details by whomever gives them this info.

I heard Hammond was given the challenge to have as many as he could find former #1 picks on this team

He's resigned Bogut
He's signing Kwame
We're trading for Joe Smith
And we're bringing back Big Dog

BOOM!

Kwame makes sense looking at all the UFA names out there, but he's definitely not an "athletic 4". He's more of a banger-type than a quick-moving high-riser type.

I actually think that Kwame would be a good fit given our current roster. Just would obviously not want him starting, would want him backing up PF/C.

I believe we're also announcing next week that the Kandi man will be running the Dippin' Dots cart on the 200 level concourse next season.

If it was Kwame, our current roster would be:

Williams/Sessions
Redd/Bell
Jefferson/Mason/Mbah a Moute
Villanueva/Alexander/Ilyasova (maybe)
Bogut/Brown/Gadzuric

Anything that eliminates the chance of Gadzuric seeing the floor is fine with me, and with this roster it appears that Kwame would be our 10th man, and I couldn't see us going any deeper than that. Obviously, there will likely be more moves, but I think Kwame with this roster is a good fit. You can have Brown back PF/C and Alexander back SF/PF in the frontcourt. Mason can back 2/3, Bell can back 1/2, and Sessions runs backup PG.

Was it Colonel Mustard in the Conservatory with the Candlestick?

Whoever is getting signed definitely won't be purely a backup center.

I may be mistaken but wasn't CBQ talking about Chris Anderson in a thread a few days ago. If its really one of the first few guesses and its not Haislip I think hes probably the best bet.

Birdman would be very uninspiring.

1. Posting a specific name would be easier to discredit when wrong.
2. Posting hints and vague tips is more mysterious and makes the thread about the topic starters instead of the impact the actual player would have on the Bucks. It's an ego trip.
3. Sharing info in this way allows posters to show off their "sources" and feel important.
4. The mystical sources don't want to mention specifics because this is the Milwaukee Bucks RealGM forum and any thread can quickly explode into a national news story. This inevitability would cost everyone their jobs of course.

Why post anything if you're not really saying anything? To feed the egos maybe?

I think we all may be getting hung up on UFA or RFA. The Thread Title is "New Signing".

Correct me if I am wrong, but don't offer sheets need to be signed, as well as contracts?

I still think it is Craig Smith, based on the evidence presented on this board.

BTW, what has Anderson or 'slip done against the Bucks?

When we agree, we really agree. That said, at least the Birdman can get on the glass and contest some shots. Unlike Haislip. If this is anything other than a vet min deal, though, Color Me Confusedd.
