I think he's more likely to be what Gadz is, although for less money. He is a better shot blocker than Gadz, though, which is actually a pretty solid accomplishment.

Anyway, if we bring this guy in for 15 mpg, and we've got JA penciled in for 5-10 PF minutes, we still need someone to give us 20-25 minutes there. Unless that's going to be Ruffin + Gadz + CV + LRMAM... but it still seems like a trade has to be coming within the next month.

My God, I wish it were Kwame.

This guy was below average in every way besides jumping high in his prime. Now, he's 30. A coke head. And has played 5 games in 2.5 years. What a joke.

Between the news of Bogut's ridiculous deal, and this crap, any excitement I had for the Bucks has been squelshed.

Actually we've already got one trade to make me happy. I only buy my kids the traded player jerseys that are sold for 1/3 price in October. I think my kids will be sporting "Yi" road jerseys next season.

Buying them all Desmond jerseys in October of 2005 really paid off last season.

lol

Maybe if Desmond gets traded this offseason Jefferson will take his number and you'll luck out once again!

I wouldn't particularly mind Andersen, and I was actually becoming a bit of a fan of his in the year he got suspended - he was starting to put up some decent numbers.

But does he really bring anything significant to the table that Gadzuric and Ruffin don't do as well, or better?

Yes. Andersen on enough speed to kill a rhino is less spasmodic than Gadz.

So long as he got a pocket change contract, i'd be fine with Andersen being the 10th/11th man off the bench.

this thread has been a joke from the start, and if Hammonds really does sign birdman, well then the Bucks will continue to be the laughing stock of the leaugue......i just hope this aint true!

As long as we don't give him much money and this isn't the only move we make for a pf I have no problem with him as an end of the bench energy guy. If we give him money like we gave Voshkul last year I will be dissapointed though.

I don't have a lot of problems with him has a role player, but if he is looking for starter minutes... look elsewhere.

I just woke up from a nap and now wish that I would not have. We now have the most disgraced dunk contest performer ever and on top of that he was only good because he smoked massive amounts of crystal meth prior to entering a game (that's how he became an energy guy, I think). No big deal if we did it on the cheap and for one year, however.

The Birdman and Alexander on the team would be something. When is the last time the Bucks had 2 white dudes who could throw down some thunder dunks? Plus RJ will bring some highlight reel dunks as well :) Extending Bogut makes me more optimistic Mo is on his way out and signing Andersen would do the same for CV.

I certainly wouldn't be dancing in the streets or bestowing a bunch of praise on Hammond though.

I'll say this ... I'd rather have Andersen on the roster than Voskuhl. At least there's the potential for Andersen to do something positive.

He can block shots and dunk, what else can you ask for in a cheep backup? Honestly there really isn't much out there for free agent bigs, especially with our cap. I like it. I bet he out performs Gadz for less than a 1/4 of the cost.
