We still need a starting PF, so either we think that can be Alexander or CV (dear God no CV), or we are planning on trading for one.

There's always potential for an Andersen positive. There are now four random drug tests per season as mandated by the 2005 CBA. That's potentially 4 Andersen positives right there :)

Another I know what you do not know thread. Whoppie. Knew it was not going to be anything big. Better off keeping things to yourself that really do not matter.

Gadz for the vet minimum, as opposed to Gadz for 6 mil/per, is a good investment...

Man we have some leapers on this team now (Dez, RJ, Alexander, Birdman, Mbah a Moute). Not that that means a damn thing whatsoever, just throwing it out there.

But that will add up to a whole lot of money for two morons. Why pay vets min when you could add a rookie cheaper

Hammond must have a fetish for athletic white dudes but, hey, who can blame him? :eyebrows:

We could have "Vanilla Sky" and "White Pony" on our roster.

This move makes perfect sense for a new GM. While I don't quite think John Hammond is going out on a limb to make a name for himself as most new GMs try to do (Larry Harris), this move will help him achieve "genius" status, whereas it is low risk if it doesn't work. I still really do hope we trade villanueva though

Anderson and Alexander are long, strong, and can go all night long.

I wouldn't be surprised if Gadz is shown the door at the first available opportunity - in which case it's only a little money for one moron...

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that a "white out" frontcourt of Bogie, Birdman and Vanilla Sky would be the most athletic all-white frontcourt in NBA history.

Although I agree with those who said Kwame would easily be the best option out of the names mentioned, do we have enough money to make him a reasonable offer?

Old Skool said in another thread:

The Bucks have six roster spots to fill on the fifteen man slate, and just over $6-million to spend if they are to avoid paying the Luxury Tax. That's an average of $1-million per spot - not enough to get anyone who is really going to make a difference in 2008-09...

The only cheap contract that is a known option is Mbah a Moute. The rest of the roster additions, barring a trade, would have to be close to vet minimum deals (and vet minimum basketball ability).

If that is correct, we can't afford Kwame. He's not great but guys who can defend in the post are enough of a commodity that he obviously isn't going to get the minimum.
