This made me think of that John Cusak movie, "Better Off Dead"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088794/

The guy that played Booger in "Revenge Of The Nerds" was also in it, and he has this running gag where he treats various things as if they were cocaine. I can't remember all of them, but one was for sure jello.

But what made me think of it from your post was a scene where they are skiing and he starts getting all excited and says something to the effect of... "Guys, can you believe this, this is 100% PURE snow!" and then starts snorting it.
:)

A very amusing movie, all-around. I highly recommend it.

Savage Steve Holland wrote a great script.
He also has another similar comedy the following year also starring Cusak called "One Crazy Summer" which is also very good.

2 of my favorite movies, unfortunately, Cusak doesn't think too highly of either of them. I read a story a long time ago about how he stormed out of the theater during One Crazy Summer.

Egg Stork: Ack Ack, let me tell you a little story. A story about a little fat kid who everybody made fun of, and nobody liked and he had a twin brother, and everybody said he never looked like his twin brother, but he wanted to...
Ack Ack Raymond: Egg, where you that little boy?
Egg Stork: No! No! But I used to beat the s*** out him! "Why are you so fat? Why are so ugly?" Aaagghh!
