Bucks-Bulls Trade Rumor

Post#1 » by Tommy Udo 6 » Thu Jun 25, 2009 7:37 pm

Bulls Forum is going crazy with it - and you dont have it?

Believeable - but the source is from Greece.

Skiles used to coach in Greece, so he could still be in contact & have sources there.

The offer : Ridnour, Elson and the 10th pick for Kirk Hinrich.

We have a thread on it. To summarize: the Bucks get ass raped in the deal. No thanks.

I don't know...does this save us money? Because I sure don't want to trade the #10 pick if we don't shed salary...and I wouldn't even do it then. I don't like this.

SportsWorld posted it in another thread. I think it's a big enough rumor to have its own thread.

As for the deal. I hate it.

I don't know why the Bucks would offer this deal. It's awful for them.

It's a great deal for Bulls - and seems too one-sided.

That usually means B.S.

I didnt know you guys had the info.......

Yeah, I really hope this isn't true. If it is, it's happening because apparently the Bucks offered it. No way the Bulls turn that down.

If this actually happens they might as well just pack up and head for Vegas.

yesterday Hinrich was all but traded to the Blazers (per false report on Yahoo).

Today it's the Bucks - but this rumor gives a much better return of talent. Maybe the Bucks would get the 16th along with Hinrich. That makes a little more sense

Maybe, if they include #16...

Id consider Gadz,Bell,#10 for #16 and Kirk. Then dump Ridnour for NG Stackhouse.

Where is this trade coming from, a source close to Skiles?

Ick... Hope this is one that doesn't come true.

Just do Stackhouse for Luke, make your pick, sing your players and start the season.

I wouldn't do it even with 16 added. No desire for Kirk's three more years.

Maybe.

Look, as Luke and Supreme Hustle will tell you, I'm the biggest Hinrich fan that you're going to find anywhere close to the Bradley Center, and there's NO WAY that I'd give the Bulls Ridnour + #10 for Hinrich. I wouldn't do #10 for Hinrich straight up.

I could imagine #10 + Ridnour for #16 + Hinrich, with #16 used on a PF or SG/SF type.

Yeah, he isn't coming for cheap either.

I think a more realistic deal would be Ridnour + Elson for Hinrich straight up, personally... Though I think the Bulls lose out on that one.

Why would we want Hinrich in the first place? Just keep the 10 and draft a PG if you want a player at that position. Hinrich is nothing special.

All the good Hammond could do this offseason would be offset by one trade. I don't think he wants that on his hands.

If this happens I'm going to cheer for the Twolves until Hinrich is gone. Hinrich is luke ridnour...why would we trade our pick and ridnour for hinrich who has a long term deal....i wouldn't trade ridnour for hinrich straight up...this rumor is hampering my draft day experience
