Even though Cassell's data says otherwise, I'm with you. I have great recall of Mauer screwing us. Can I name you the instances? No. But this guy is as disruptive to us as Steve Javie but without the attitude.

Maybe the FT differentials weren't great in our Mauer games, but I don't think Cassell's formula takes into account the one-off screw job that can occur in the last minute or two of a game. You can call it even for the first 45 minutes and then still foul out Bogut at the end of the game on a phantom call. The damage is done.

Washington healthy are way better than their record suggests. Haywood is their Bogut - he anchors the D and is pretty efficient on O. That should be a pretty good matchup. Bogut needs to take it to him and hope he draws a few fouls.

Prince returning is huge for us, because the Butler/Jamison combo is a tough matchup. Jamison in particular needs to be kept off the glass on the offensive end - he's been huge since coming back.

Wizards are pretty poor defending the 3, so hopefully they are dropping for us. No Ridnour doesn't help there.

Should be a close game - hopefully we can get up.

Should win this. Bogut will have a solid game (but won't OWN Haywood) but I think we win with our shooters knocking down more of their shots.

Need to get these away wins.

Good luck tonight guys! Always good games between us. Really looking forward to the Haywood-Bogut matchup. Big Drew's really impressed me so far. Best center in the east not named Dwight. The Gil vs Jennings matchup should be fun aswell.

That's the Jag girl, isn't it - Catherine Bell. Definitely lustworthy.

Nice game thread, Paul. Some funny shoops there.

Bucks 107 - Wizards 101

Such a great signature. Way to go

I just want to see the Bucks not get in foul trouble early. We can't afford that. Especially Bogut. And no Gadzuric please. Thomas has been solid enough to keep Gadz on the bench.

From the Wizards board.

Bucks offense: 21st
Bucks defense: 7th

Wizards offense: 25th
Wizards defense: 20th

Although I'm sure they would be better in both categories if we looked at the per 36 numbers.

You're giving up 107.9 points per 100 possessions, good for 20th in the league.

They're coming in a week, so you won't have to wait that long.

Ah, will order some industrial-grade stupid-retardant in anticipation.

Can PP or MD re-register sneaky_pete? He should get some time out of ban-dom, just for Bucks games...

That crap dont matter. Most people look at your defensive FG percentage. Thats what every coach goes by. If you watch us play then you would easily think that we play good D. Its our O that has been crap as we struggle to learn the system, mesh with new players, and get guys healthy. Alot of times your D is a direct reflection of your bad O. Meaning, alot of times were scoring baskets on us strictly because we would turn it over and they would be running for easy layups or we would take bad jumpers since we couldnt figure out the system and get the chemsitry right and teams would be off & running. If you watch all our games, our D has been very good in 90% of them. The problem is we are struggling life & death to score 80 points, atleast until recently. Im also not one to cry about the refs but weve gotten shafted in pretty much every game so far. Gil cant buy a foul anymore and we get called for touch foul after touch foul. You guys dont have to beleive it but trust me, you can tell when a team is playing good D or not and we are and its not just because we have totally sucked in year's past

The Wizards board is pretty good. Lots of in-depth and committed posters there. Would be fun to get a rivalry going with them.

This to me though is "must-win" for both teams if either wants to prove they are a 45-win type squad.

There are a few posters there that really look like they know their stuff (seem to have opinions based off of more then just the box score)

These two teams always seem to have good games with each other.

I don't think this is a must win type of game if the Bucks want to be a playoff team .But I do agree that if they want to be in that 45-50 win area then tonight is a must win for us.

I think at this point the Bucks ceiling if they remain relatively healthy is closer to 45 wins than 50 wins.

Just wanted to throw that out there so nobody pops a blood vessel or anything.
