I expect at least 40 from Bogut.

Are you making excuses for Bogut before the game even starts? :o

Nah, just showing how clueless your post was.

Oh, so we should expect Bogut to play like garbage against a guy who is close to 40 that was never all that good in the NBA to begin with? Just because old man Shaq and Andrew Bynum didn't have good games against him?

Oh... Well okay, if Bogut plays like crap, it's justified then.

Personally I think the better indicator to see if Bogut will play well/bad would be who is the guard that will generally be playing the help D. Generally if that help defender is very active, Bogut forces up more long range, base line hook shots.

Then again you could make the same point for almost all post up players.

Glad to see people are ripping and making excuses for Bogut before the game even starts. Not shocked though.

I'm not ripping on him, I just said I hope he doesn't have a crappy game against old man Howard... Then someone said my post was 'clueless'. (I don't know how saying I hope a player doesn't have a bad game makes me clueless?)

But he was making an excuse for him before the game, which I found amusing. :D

I don't get this. If you want them to lose, then why wouldn't you root for them to lose?

Well, I figure I have no control on the outcome of the game. If I watched to root for them to lose, I wouldn't watch at all. I root while I watch knowing I have no control either way, but in the end after the game hope it was a loss.

Confusing I know.

Well, to be fair, you were also pre-emptively making an excuse if he does play well (going against Juwan Howard).

Bogut has good games against both good and bad opponents. If he plays well, he plays well. If he plays like crap, he plays like crap.

I don't really care who it is against... But yes, I do expected him to play well against Howard.

Is that such a ridiculous expectation to have for a guy who we are building our team around? For him to outplay a guy who is almost 40 and isn't that good of an NBA player?

Win, if we finish up this road trip by winning at least one more we will still be good shape to make the 8th seed. We're only .5 game out of the 8th seed as things stand now.

No, I didn't realize that.

I don't understand what that has to do with Andrew Bogut outplaying Juwan Howard though.

Yes, but it is also one game. The anti-Bogut train is getting in full effect on this forum though.

Alright Luke... If he gets outplayed by Juwan Howard, no one should say anything, because it's just one game.

Him getting outplayed by a guy who is almost 40 that is probably the worst starting center in the NBA right now wouldn't be a big deal at all, apparently.

Expecting him to outplay Juwan Howard means I am 'anti-Bogut', got it.
