Nash MVP @ Worlds

Columbus Blue Jackets left wing Rick Nash was named the Most Valuable Player at the 2007 World Hockey Championships in Moscow, Russia after leading Canada to its 24th gold medal in the event. He scored two goals to lead Canada to a 4-2 win over Finland in the final game of the tournament in on Sunday.

Nash, 22, registered six goals and five assists for 11 points with four penalty minutes and a +8 plus/minus rating in nine games during the tournament. It was his second appearance at the World Championships and raised his career totals in the tournament to 15-11-26, 12 penalty minutes and a +15 plus/minus rating. In 2005, he helped Canada win the silver medal as he tallied 9-6-15 with eight penalty minutes and was +7 in nine games and was named to the All-Tournament Team.


A good sign for the young superstar. Im a huuuuuge Nash fan and hope he continues to improve
