Calder Cup talk (Griffin's related)

Post#1 » by Mr Swagtastic » Thu Apr 26, 2007 5:09 pm

So far Jimmy Howard has been a great addition for the Griffin's just wish they kinda left Hudler down there. Kip Miller has been outstanding so far and one of the reasons why we are doing so well. He's one of those savy vetern players that knows how to make his teamates better.

Hope we can take this series from the Manitoba Moose!! So far the series is tied 2-2 I will keep you guys updated with the scores and feel free to post any thing you want Griffins releated or ask any questions about our minor team

Huge win yesterday by the Griffin's!!!!!!!!!!! Tony Voce with a 3 point night 2 goals and 1 assits for a +3 rating.

Boootland with 17 PIM :o man that guy is agressive. I think a little too much so. He took some bad penelty's.

Sweet! What was Jimmy's stat line?

I love Bootland, can we pleaseeeeee call him up next year? We need an enforcer soo badly.

23 shots faced with 20 saves. He even had 2 PIM's (Slashing). Booters had a game misconduct for Slashing.

Griffins lost 2-1 yesterday to the Manitoba Moose to force a 7 on Tuesday.

Jimmy Howard had 21 saves though in a loosing effort, I hope we can win this series since the Moose won the divison and had 102 points we finished with 85 points.

The winner plays the Hamilton Bulldogs in the 2nd round. The Hamilton Bulldogs are a good all around team
