Lidstrom hurt

Post#1 » by ajaX82 » Tue Feb 19, 2008 3:41 am

Our captain got checked by the cheap bastard Lappy and looked to seriously injure his leg. Im pretty worried he might be out for a bit.

Ill post updates when i get them

Oh, and Downey stepped up and took Ian on afterwards, and managed to accumulate a whoping 37 PIM this game. I love him sticking up for Nick

That sucks, I guess you'll need both Kaberle and Sundin now ;)

thanks for that!

I lovedwatching Aaron just beat the **** outta Lappy. This game might spark the rivalry again, something i would be quite excited for.

Call up McCarty!!!

Guess you need a winning team! Well Lidstrom will be fine I would rest him till we need to I love our team no need to rush him back to pad stats in the regular season.

If you want to trade us Kabrle for cheap I am all ears

AP - Red Wings star Nicklas Lidstrom expects to be out for three weeks with an injured right knee, according to an Associated Press report.

Lidstrom says his knee is sore, but it felt better Wednesday than he thought it would after being slammed into the boards earlier this week by Colorado's Ian Laperrier.

damn. i really, really hope Kronwall and Rafalski are ready to come back. Otherwise Meech and Quincy are going to become key parts. Hell Meech is going to be up anyways, we might have to call up another D-man. Kindl?

Well happy that he's doing good and we are going to rest him. Wouldn't want to rush anything. We are doing just fine and are not in panic mode like alot of sports shows would suggest. I think Kindl would be a amazing callup for now as it would give him more NHL exp. Rafalski has been playing very well I think even a career year so I wouldn't mess with him either.

Just look for a cheaper stay at home d-man and that's it, as we have some great backchekers like Draper and Maltby.

Looks like we've called all the kids up. As much as I'd like to see all our regular defensemen back, I guess it's good that the kids are getting some NHL-level experience. Just as long as we don't rush anybody back, we should be fine.
