I don't want to be overconfident but I think we'll continue to roll. We handled them pretty well in the regular season and if we play like we did against the Jackets I think we can finish them off in 5. The Ducks take a ton of penalties and our powerplay is killing it right now. Not a good sign for them.

Hiller worries me a little bit, but even if he plays well I think we still win. The Ducks only had 12 goals in 6 games against the Sharks and you can't beat this year's version of the Wings in a series with an offense like that. If Osgood plays like the Osgood of games 1-3 against the Jackets I think we may have a good chunk of time to rest up and watch Chicago and Vancouver battle to the death.

Good, hard fought win. Hiller played great but we still won. Good sign of things to come.
Nick was amazing and showed why he's one of the best of all-time. Osgood was solid, and I love how right after the Brown hit on Jiri we went right at Hiller for some payback. Its going to be a nasty series.

What a heartbreaker. I was on the edge of my seat through the final period and then all 3 overtimes. Both teams gave it their all. No one deserved to lose. Congrats to the Ducks though. Now the Wings need to repay them by taking one (or two) in Anaheim.

Awful call. I'm not liking this series right now. We've got to find a way to get to Hiller.

Great bounce back by the Wings. That was by far the best game we've played this series. I'm sure this game will give them lots of confidence that they can put some past Hiller.

Great job by Babcock, the Mule/Filppulla/Hossa line looked amazing.

This was the type of game Champions win. I can't say I enjoyed watching this game . Scary game. The Wings did a great job overcoming some bad calls and bad luck. I know Dats wasn't all over the score sheet tonight but I thought he was awesome. He did an outstanding job killing off that 5 on 3 early. Nice goal by Cleary and I'm beginning to think that Helm might be the fastest player in the league. I love that kid.

On to the Hawks. This was the one team I didn't want the Wings to face because they're really the only team left that can come close to matching our talent. I still think we take them but I'm expecting a 6 or 7 game series. It'll be fun to see all the skill on display, especially after such a grind it out series.

I agree. It's funny to think that the Hawks are actually a decent team after all these years, but they do have some nice young talent on that roster. Should be a great series.
