Pisani out indefinitly

The Edmonton Oilers announced today forward Fernando Pisani will be out of the Oilers lineup indefinitely after being diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis (UC). Pisani is currently undergoing treatment.

Oilers General Manager Kevin Lowe had the following comment.

Can't say the indefinite margin of recovery gives me hope for Pisani's immediate future on the team. But on the plus side, its completely curable, so whenever he elects to have surgery (if deemed necessary) he should be back to normal
