Yeah the refs were horrendous that game, I just stopped watching because I couldn't stand watching that bs unfold in front of my eyes. Last game vs. the Flyers was MUCH better, the Canadiens were skating hard, and playing hard. Was SO good to see Komi back in the lineup too! Halak played pretty well, but seemed a little shaky at times.

Yeah, now that the whole Sundin thing is over and done with, I'm hoping we can see a trade made. Supposedly Gainey wants Jay Bo, but Bouwmeester also wants way too much cash in the offseason. I hope he brings in Cory Murphy or even tries to pick up Shea Weber some how.

Or, of course, we can always make a trade and bring back Streit. :)

Jay Bo would be nice if we can get him for a decent price.

What was the deal with the Carolina game? I didn't get to watch it but I heard the refs were terrible? (Yet again)

I hate Carolina. If it's not Justin Williams almost ending Koivu's career and then high sticking Markov the next game with no call, it's the refs always favoring them. . .

nice win against the Penguins yesterday, Carey Price was just a beast in the 3rd period, he really bailed the team out

but damn Boston is scaring me, I just hate that city

Yeah Boston is just one of those teams that you love to hate as a Habs fan. I don't think it helps that my Dad is a Boston fan haha, makes me dislike them even more. The one thing about Boston that I like is that my Grandfathers cousin Milt Schmidt is a hall of famer and one of the best Bruins of all time. Can't deny they've got a very good team this year though.

Sorry I wasn't around the past couple days. I was away for X-Mas and my cousins wedding.

Win number 3000 baby! Woot woot! Also, congrats to Maxime Lapierre on the hatty last night! All the kid does is continuously hustle and he's an great player for us. I love his style of play and hope that it never changes.

haha my parents are Boston fans too!! But there more of a Claude Julien fan, they just love the guy for some reason. I like Lapierre, he has some great speed and he's a great PK killer, congrats to him (and A. Kostitsyn against the Pens)

Another great sign is Kovalev with 9 points in his last 9 games. He was putting the effort in, it's nice to see his slump slowly diminishing.

Anyone else catch how P.K. Subban has been doing? Kid looks like he has serious potential. To be honest, he reminds me of Sheldon Souray. Under average on defense, but more than makes up for it on offense. Racks up assists and he can score with the best of them.

He's got more than Souray because he can skate! Kid is going to be a stud offensive D-man. His D has also improved leaps and bounds since being drafted. You're right about Kovy, it's about time!

Great win tonight! Carey Carey Carey!!

Is Carey Price good or what? 8-0-4 in his last 12 games, and what's up with Lapierre? he seems to have more energy then usual, hope it stays like that

He's always hyper every shift, he's just getting into the right spots with it now.

Yeah I have always liked Lapierre, brings a lot of hustle. Carey Price is a stud, plain and simple.

Happy New Years fellas!

Same to you Snayr. Here's hoping we can finally string together a dominant streak of wins and pull away from the rest of the East!

Personally, I find Halak to be terribly inconsistent. But when he's on, you can't beat him. Reminds me of Theodore in his prime, actually.

Yeah that's what I find as well. When Halak is struggling he's really fighting the puck, but when he's on... man is he good. Good win last night, must win tonight vs. the laughs.

the laughs always play the habs tough. This is my proline game to play for the tie. Some crazy stat like 10 out of there last 15 games have ended in tie's or something like that. Go habs go!
