He was probably pushing it too hard and got sore. no big deal. if he is pushing it that hard and the knee held up we should be glad.

I think Foye is just trying not to be overly optimistic, probably at the behest of the coaching staff. While they'd love him back, we're not fighting for anything this season and he needs to be healthy for the long term.
