Shaddy killed it tonight, that talk by Witt got him pumped.

I think so too. I expected another great game by shad to be honest but I didn't expect such a good team effort

A good win for the team. With Shaq and Zo out, I had a good guess that we would take this one.

Did they say something good?

Fred Carter on NBA TV said he likes Al since he played in the rookie/soph game "He was a man among boys"

This is BS! They said the wolves and the Heat coming up after the break! Then they didn't even show us! They talked about the Celtics! Come on man, this is ridiculous!

Good win. Got a little dicey there in the 4th, but still nice to see. Our starters logged some major minutes, but all put out nice efforts.

Ahhh great they showed two Wade highlights like he just destroyed us tonight. We didn't even get a mention during that. Stinkin ESPN.

Wow, good honor for Al today, he made this weeks fave 5:

PG: Chris Paul
SG: Vince Carter
SF: Lebron James
PF: Dirk Nowitzki
C: Al Jefferson

How he made it, I don't know, but isn't it cool that he's on that list.

NBA TV..They have a "Fave 5" every week for the top performers of the week, and he was on there at the C position.

My post-game assessment

-Minny
Just got done watching it (I frickken love Tivo) and McCants is finally coming with what a lot of us believed he could. He still was in some foul trouble, but i know of at least 2 of those fouls were very iffy calls. He was very efficient and kept the tempo up until late in the 4th, it looked like the entire team was force feeding him. I really liked the fact that the few times he drove and got blocked didnt discourage him at all. He had 3 TO's but watching it didnt even feel like it. Efficiency, Efficiency, EFFICIENCY!!!

Telfair was very solid, 1 assist away from a double-double. And Jaric was equally as effective from a passing standpoint and was tremendous shooting the rock. Gomes did his damn thing and Cookie was also very good off the bench. We all played team ball FINALLY. It felt really good from the start.

-Miami
Someone mentioned my exact thoughts earlier in this thread, Blount dunked more times in this game, than with us last season, ridiculous. McCants was excellent defensively against RD and Telfair gave ZERO space for Quinn. Haslem was excellent, it seems near impossible to stop his mid range jumper from the wing. Cook is a fine young rook and for a second there i though Luke Jackson was gonna bring the Heat back. This win was kinda bittersweet, i guess this means there is no shot at getting Miami's pick eh? *sigh* I really want Hardin too.

I feel i need to say this. Earl Barron has some of the worst hands I have seen in some time. He struggles to get his hands around the balls (hehe) and never seems to get complete control, his dribble is okay but nothing great, combined with decent at best footwork. Im not sure this guy is gonna work out in the NBA. just thought i would say it.

I saw the highlights this am. We got all the highlights, Wade got a top 10 play, they said our win should have an asterisk since we played the heat.

NBA Fastbreak had like 3 McCants highlights compared to about 1 Wade highlight. They actually got Shad's name right too, Rashad not RASHARD
