They don't get much dumber looking than Blake Griffin.
Zach Randolph>Frye. Kevin Durant > Oden. Random guy off street> Pritchard.

We will draft Demar Derozan. Why? Because USC played in the Metrodome.

I wouldn't necessarily be against DeRozan...but I know what you mean.

Really, though, we could use his athleticism and upside. He seemed to improve over the course of his freshman season at USC, so I see no reason why that trend shouldn't continue. His mid-range jumper seemed to get smoother. Probably would not be a major contributor next year unless he blows the doors off the gym this summer, though.

DeRozan also has a serious work ethic but he could be a long term project.

Where does Carney fit with some of these plans? We just assume he is gone?

I was listening to the game on the radio last night on my way home from the gym and they mentioned Carney. I had to stop for a second, "Wait, who?" I'd forgotten he was on the team.

Wow. They still have Evans going in the 20's. He's a lottery pick for sure. As far as their draft for the Timberwolves, it's alright:

DeRozan I could live with as our first pick...
I'd take BJ Mullens over Ty Lawson
I'd take Pat Mills over Johnson

I can't accept Derozan, I just don't see him having any impact for us. I like Lawson and Johnson quite a bit, I can't argue with either of those, I'd be pretty satisfied.

Derozan is a little bit of a project, but he's got upside and everybody else in this draft sucks.

He seems beyond project to me, what does he do at an NBA player besides being athletic?

Aminu or Evans seem like better prospects to me with better upside.

The same thing could have been said about Westbrook last year. Derozan brings a nice midrange game and has the mechanics to develop a nice three point shot some day. If he tightens his handle he's going to be very dangerous. Aminu is a tweener. Evans might be as raw playing off the ball as Derozan is with the ball.

I fail to see how people have all this Holiday love, but can't seem to project Derozan likewise getting any better.

Derozan has a good name, as does Ty Evans. I can see both of them being stars. Like Kobe Bryant.

Harold Miner? Boring name=bust.

Westbrook was well known as an elite defender and ballhandler, Derozan has none of that. Aminu can rebound and has great defensive potential. Evans can handle the rock and get to the rim.

Derozan....is a sweet dunker....

He put up good numbers during the PAC-10 and NCAA tournaments so he must be able to do something.

Derozan is also a good rebounder and has a better midrange game than any of the players you mentioned. Someday he's going to be dangerous out of the triple threat.

Agreed. All the Gerald Green comparisons are silly. DeRozan plays within the game and within his limitations, he doesn't think he IS the game. I'm serious when I say he's got Paul Pierce potential.

Ahem, potential. And by potential, I'm referring to bad complexion.
