New alternate logo cap found

If you look at a lot of teams though, the alternate logo is used just as much as the primary, if not more. I actually get confused sometimes because I think one is the primary, when it is actually the secondary. Don't worry, we'll see a lot of this logo.

The only thing I hope for is that the primary just has "Minnesota Timberwolves" around it, and nothing more.

I can't really think of any teams that use their alternate logo as much as their primary one. Especially ones that look vastly different from each other.

Phoenix does, Portland, San Antonio, Toronto, Memphis I could go on. Look at the current Wolves page and compare the number of times you see the primary logo vs. the secondary one. Plus its not only the teams that use them more, but its the media. Watch SportsCenter during the regular season, and you see them use alternate logos a lot. I actually thought Phoenix changed their logo because thats all I would ever see.

Also notice the white in the logo. This promo just started today.

I like the new font! Didnt expect much from the new primary, we were told it would be minor changes.

Crap. That looks stupid, just like I feared.

The thing with primary and alternate logos is that they usually compliment each other well. These clearly look like different styles, the update makes no sense.

The font is ok though.

If they are going to keep the old logo, I would much rather it look closer to this

I also think he looks meaner though I have to say that I expected something different... not bad IMO since I always liked our logo but I expected something different.

I think its likely still just an alternate. Most teams have multiple alternates, and the primarys usually have the team name as well. None of these are the primary logo.
