I noticed that Naz Reid kind of like being in those little scrimmages. I like that in these situations he is both calm and under control, yet physical.

Good post. Skirmishes not scrimmages I think.

Is Naz our best postup scorer? He looks automatic shooting those jump hooks with either hand

Yes. Not even close. Also the best driver - either hand. Not even close. And is probably the only guy on the team that understands the value and will deliver a hard foul. I still think KAT is a better shooter, however. Naz pushed Pek off my personal Wolves Mt. Rushmore of all-time favs.

I'd like to call the three centers as Cerberus. The three headed dog of the underworld in Greek mythology. Except they're three headed wolves on our team

At this moment it's KG, Pek, KAT and ANT. with honorable mention to Bill Curley just for how much me made me and my boys laugh.

I have no reason to post this 2019 tweet, except I was searching old posts for a different reason, saw this, and it made me smile.

We got four players in 2019. We took Culver with the 6th overall pick, then Jaylen Nowell in the second round. We signed two undrafted players to two ways, Jordan McLaughlin and Naz Reid. The draft picks are in the G league and on a 10 day. The two way players are in the rotation for the top team in the west. Funny how that works ;)

I was talking to my brother last night about Naz, we're so happy for him, man has worked his ass off to get where he's at and I really applaud his growth. One of my favorite development stories in the NBA from undrafted to key contributor on a playoff team. That's what hard work is all about.

I remember that rookie year too, he was a guy I was like... alright, dude has some post moves and he hustles, but he's really turned into a fine NBA player from some of those first years.

I still don’t fully understand why he stayed. I am thrilled he did, but he could/should be starting somewhere this year. Instead he is making less money playing behind KAT and Rudy. Of course 6th man of the year is nothing to sneeze at.

I think he has the perfect role right now. He is not exactly a center or pwf. He is not a starter. He is the supersize Malik Monk. Don't expect him to play every game like against DAL. Because of Towns and Gobert, we have the perfect system for him.
