Also maybe Finch can utilize Ant more as postup scorer by drawing these inverted plays, where Towns is on 3pt line feed Ant in the post.

Agree with all of this. Not like it would hurt us to try and there’s really no risk, so why not mix it up a little and see how teams respond?

Ant leads the league so far this season in minutes played at 1403 minutes. Second is Mikal Bridges at 1374

I think Britt unintentionally brought up a really good point about Ant that's a complete contrast from a previous No. 1 pick.
When Ant fails, it's usually because he has the confidence to do things that he doesn't have the ability to do. It's an overconfidence in his ability. Conversely, Wiggins had many of the same abilities, but for whatever reason here didn't have the confidence to do the things he had the ability to do.

This will manifest itself it great ways. That confidence and desire to do things he can’t do, will drive him to be able to do them. Fade away midrange game is coming.

This game against UTA has showed that next big step for Ant is in-between, mid range game. I know that not every team has such big С as Kessler who knows how to play drop, but Edwards needs to learn how to score against drop

More postups for Edwards!!!
Does anyone remember in which game Edwards scored in the post? Cant find any YT highlights, it speaks itself how underrated this part of game in nowdays NBA...

I just finished reading that, its striking how similar it is to what Jon Tjarks used to write about KAT during the Thibs era

I stopped reading when I read this:
Things haven’t gone according to plan. The Wolves started 5-8 and were 16-21 on New Year’s Eve.
This is a guy cherry-picking to try to make his point. It was posted today, when the Wolves are 25-25, which is a fair representation of their season.

Ant has improved his midrange game and passing significantly this year...you love to see it.

Coming in to this season looking at things objectively I think it was very fair to say LaMelo Ball has been the better player/pick. With Ball continuously missing games and Ant continuously getting better is it now Fair to say that Ant has been the better player/pick?

Re: Anthony Edwards Thread: Part Two (Read First Post)
Seen this at BR and was at leat surprised:
"10 NBA Players Who Need to Step Up Right Now
Anthony Edwards, Minnesota Timberwolves
As was the case last season, Edwards' marginal progress somehow feels disappointing. Little steps forward tend to underwhelm if everyone anticipates a leap. Perspective is important here. When a 21-year-old is averaging 24.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 4.4 assists on 56.9 percent true shooting (all career highs) and it doesn't have NBA fans dancing in the streets, it suggests our expectations are unfair. It's a testament to the belief Edwards' supreme physical tools inspire.
And yet, here we are asking for Edwards to level up."
