You would be disappointed if we went 11-5 in this? It is 16 games vs Playoff Caliber teams.

I get it, we are good, we are currently #1 in the West, but c'mon man. 10-6 during this stretch puts us at 27-11, well ahead of Phil Jackson's "40-20 is the minimum to be a title contender" record.

2023 Denver: 42-18
2022 GSW: 43-17

I have high expectations. I won't consider 11-5 a disaster, but it's less than what I'm hoping for.

Sure, I hope we go 16-0. I would also be content with 10-6. If we went 9-7 or 8-8 I would really need to identify what the issue was in that, but it likely isn't a major red flag.

If we go < .500, I may need to re-gauge the ceiling of this team, or at least the realistic outcome moves from WCF/NBA Finals to 1st/2nd round playoff team.

I just hope we end healthier than when we start.

I would hope for 16-0 also, but I think 12-4 is a realistic hope.

We are 2 games into another opportunity for a 10-game streak, with a couple of difficult matchups sprinkled in....

vs. Blazers (W, 116-93)
vs. Clippers (W, 109-105)
at Pistons (4-36)
vs. Grizzlies (15-25)
vs. Thunder (27-12)
vs. Hornets (8-29)
at Wizards (7-32)
at Nets (16-23)
at Spurs (7-32)
at Thunder (27-12)

Yes, as I said before. Now is the time. We could run it until the Bucks game.

It’s easier later in the season, when some teams are intentionally tanking, and some teams aren’t healthy.

January seems to always be a time for Minnesota to go on a run.
