I think this game is how we judge the Gobert trade. He is not going to be a monster all season like he was earlier . He is going to have some big moments and miss some easy shots. He took a lot of defensive responsibilities off Towns and I am not as worried about Towns' foul troubles. I do wish he has better hands and make a couple more shots.

Ant is currently my favorite player in the NBA, and I hope he continues to take his game to another level this season. Hope he can be more efficient and creating more plays for others.

Two man game of Conley-Gobert with an alternative of Ant ISO or eventually an Ant-KAT two man game too. Naz being a sparkplug of the bench and SloMo facilitating the 2nd unit. Jaden has NAW after him if he fouls out.

Soreness loses again to Minnesota!

Don’t forget Karl and Rudy. That late game lob was sensational!

of course the Heat casting crew said it was a miss by Towns, lol

You can't have everything and it wouldn't be nearly as exciting. Would it?

I'm sure we'll win plenty going away. :)

Honestly I can't take the pressure anymore. I hate losing so much and us falling way behind and having to grit out the games gives me mini heart attacks.

But that's what makes it so satisfying when we win.

Exactly. Enjoy the big games, this one was a big game. The Miami board is playing it off as a scheduled loss for the Heat because Herro and Adebayo just returned but anytime we beat a Finalist from last year we need to be thrilled. Plus, this group of 4 games in 4 cities (Miami, Philly, Minneapolis, Sacramento) is a big road trip. Even though one game is at home, lots of travel, and it's Xmas week.

Teams that stack wins up in a row during the winter holidays and winter months are the ones that have been focused enough to slog through the travel and find ways to win. At the end of the day, the PO seeding really makes a difference. Being in the top-4 greatly increases the team's chances of reaching the Conf. Finals or the Finals.

No surprise Miami Heat culture doesn't hold up against the arctic Tundra. Just ain't built for the elements.

That is one explanation. My theory is they are playing at a constant disadvantage. They have a persistent case of General Soreness ;)

And defense is suffocating the opponent, Not surprising Butler totally disapear at money time.

Actually Butler is known for coming up big at money/crunch/clutch time.

I called 12-4 during this tough 16 game stretch satisfactory. Anything less not so much. So far so good.

He's talking about the 16-game stretch against teams above .500, of which we're already 3-1.

Eggzactly. 11-5 wouldn't bum me out. 10-6 would. Go Wolves.

We started 1-2 right?

Did we really go 19-3 in our last 22 games?

You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. A place where Dubs can't make the play in, Lakers wins fake championships, and Timberwolves holds the best record. You have now crossed into the Twilight Zone.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
