Normally I would look at Mike vs non Mike minutes. But tonight we were bad even when Mike was on the floor. A big problem is there being able to leave the corners open and suffocate the paint and the ball. With Rudy we can at least create lobs, but with Kyle and Rudy there is nothing to do.

. Just a bad night, it's a good wake up call. We are good but when we lazy on defense and play not the right way, we loose.

I wonder how many people are gonna tell me that Kyle and Rudy share the floor well together this time? Glad they got JMAC back into the rotation, but he needs to prove to the league he is at least 35% from the corner 3. We also need to recognize when opponent are packing the paint and take what the defense gives you. OKC was doing it all night, swinging to open shooters. We were trying to force it into the paint and losing the ball. OKC were daring guys like Naz, Karl, Jaden, NAW to hit 3s. They either need to take the dare or take a seat. Otherwise the paint will stay clogged and they run up the score.

I’d say once the Wolves play the scrub teams come mid-January.

When you say next year, do you mean calendar 2024, or 24-25 season. I ask because today is December 27

Our money situation is so bad next season, I don’t think we keep Kyle this season unless we plan to resign him at a big discount. If not then we lose a 9 million dollar moveable contract and that is catastrophic for next season.

I didn't watch the game. Seeing SGA 14 of 19 is telling me we didn't double team him? The pattern of our losses seems to be we can't contain the other team's star players big or small: Murray, Booker, Fox, Zion, Embiid, and SGA. We need to figure out the double team rotation in addition to improving offensive flow.

So we are 5 and 3 on the front 8 of the difficult 16. I will be very happy with another 5 and 3. Especially the 1/11 @BOS is a 'loss' cause.

Wondering if DET will win a game before Wolves play them on 1/18 :roll:

Finch seems to like to see if he can get stars to tire themselves out. That’s an interesting strategy, but…
