What does Ant need to learn? How not to score 35 points on 52-44-90 shooting?

He carried in the first and third quarters, but he legitimately was a disaster, down-the-stretch.

Let’s be super clear, outside of a poor finish, the big reasons why Minnesota lost was awful rebounding and the terrible spacing lineup that kills Minnesota every single game. The amount of leads squandered during the Kyle Anderson and Rudy Gobert minutes this season has been painful.

I'll take a game like this from Ant another 50 times in the regular season and 16 more times in the playoffs.

We lost the game on the boards. We actually shot better than they did on 2s, 3s, and FTs, but they got 15 more rebounds than us.

We got beat by Randle. I thought we were better off with KAT on the bench in foul trouble.

What game were you watching? :)

He helped the actual Wolves team very much. If the rest of the team played as well as Ant we win easily.

Did you watch the last 5 minutes of the game? He was awful. Complaining for fouls instead of going back on D. Stupid turnovers.

It was sarcasm. Certain posters had said that.

His last 5 minutes were not as good as you wanted. he had 4 TOs for the game. For as much usage as he had pretty average. He didn't come up big in the clutch. Sheet happens. You know what Kobe Bryant's clutch FG% was? I'll help you out. 28%.

We have fallen to 24-8. Might as well be the sky falling. Judging by many of the posts made here we are the Detroit Pistons. We are stupid idiots, selfish, can't shoot, Ant sucks, KAT sucks, Rudy sucks, Kyle sucks, Finch sucks, chokers.

His last 5 minutes were not as good as you wanted. Oh no.

I want my best player to make smart, good plays down the stretch of a close game.

You seem to be satisfied that he played well in the 1st and 3rd quarters.

He played the final 7 minutes of the game and had 2 points and 2 turnovers until he made a meaningless layup with 5 seconds left.

I missed the fourth (have it on DVR,) but the 2nd and 3rd quarters were awful basketball. You seem to expect fans to enjoy bad basketball if the team is doing well. Watching your team blow a 9 point lead to be down 11 or 12 at the half is not fun. Watching them dig the hole to 16 leading to the 3rd is not entertaining in the least. No one is saying the sky is falling, but they are saying they are tired of watching us suck, regardless of the outcome.

Why are you calling him our best player. You clearly think he's terrible.
He could have played better during that time. Sheet happens. I'll take him playing the same as today 50 more times this regular season.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
