Wolves v Celtics 1/10 Game Thread

Conley - out
Gobert - GTD

Porzingis - out

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Tip of the cap to Frost, because it's time for the Wolves to leave their history behind and take the road less traveled. Shrink from a challenge or send a message to the league. Show us something new, fellas.

Hmmm! I remember MIN being pretty good last year on the back end of back-to-backs and we were! 8-3!

Pretty rough today though. They play BOS, and airport delays meant they didn’t even arrive until 1 PM ET.

I wonder if Conley made the decision to rest or Finch made it for him. If Rudy doesn’t play and Miller and Minott are in the G we are gonna miss the depth. If this is the case I am disappointed in Finch.

A good game to see how this team looks without Conley

I was surprised to see Conley out. He’d played in 81 of his last 82 games, and always fought Finch when he suggested resting him on the back end of back-to-backs. He told Finch he plays better in those games, and Finch was surprised when he proved it was true.

If it was some other 36 year old resting, you can’t come up with a better scenario. But if Conley asked for this, it worries me.

I think the unique circumstance of the travel situation weighed HEAVILY into the decision. I'm not too worried.

Luka Garza time!

Just kidding, probably not. Probably still not a deep rotation until late. Here's what I'm guessing we'll see as a nine-man rotation:

McLaughlin / Milton
Edwards / Alexander-Walker
McDaniels / Brown
Anderson
Towns / Reid

No Rudy fills me with Doom and Gloom. No Conley either. They're missing Zinger which is pretty big, but nothing compared to us missing Conley and Rudy. On the road it will take a sports miracle for us to get a win.

That would be fun. I hope it's not because we're getting blown out.

My guess

JMAC/NAW
Ant/TBJ
Jaden/Minott
Anderson/Miller
KAT/ Naz

I've kind of lost interest/hope with Minott. Used to think he could be a rotational player but he has looked awful of late. Really hoping we get to see what Miller can do against the big boys. It's miller time baby!
Porzingis being out might even out the playing field a bit...just hope we can keep it competitive.

If Ant plays anything like he did last night, the whole 2nd half could be garbage time...
