I would disagree with the definition. The Wolves have not pulled away from undermanned, under-talented teams, and have often been undisciplined in these opportunities. These teams weren’t buried early, and we have seen teams come back in the fourth quarter. We often still eke out a victory, but many of these games shouldn’t even be a risk. I think the Wolves need to take care of business in the first half.
And that’s what I want to see tonight. Get an insurmountable lead by halftime, and get the other team to concede, and play their youth. Naz calls his opponents “food,” and I hope the Wolves stop playing with their food.
Not sure if Big Jelly is officially Naz’s nickname. But you have to appreciate a guy nicknamed Big Jelly thinking of opponents as food and not wanting to play with them before eating them. It just works on many levels.
