I haven't seen much of the Doom and Gloomer crowd posting here lately. I wonder why?

There's enough minutes for Rudy, KAT and NAZ.

Right now Naz is averaging 22 minutes per game, meanwhile he'd start for 3/4ths of the teams in the league, maybe more. Every playoff teams would love to get their dirty little hands on him.

And I'm not trying to knock Karl. I'm just saying that Naz may become that good.

The Spurs are down 18. You think they are gonna drop 37?

I was wondering if it was a Lawler's law thing, but it's not that.

How many points did Spurs score in the 4th? 38. I wasn't off by much :D

I'm tuning in the Houston OKC game to see if we can get some help. Houston leading 42-39 as I type this.

22Minutes isn't bad. It keeps him fresh.

I shouldn't have tuned in. Houston went from 3 up to 10 down in the 3 minutes I watched.

No help. Holmgren just keep getting better and SGA is MVP. All the talent and picks. They will be be tough to deal with and likely get the top seed in the west

I don't think so. We are better at taking care of business.

****News Alert****
This is Brian reporting from The Doom And Gloom Network. Losses are low, wins are high. The Timberwolves are currently 24 games over .500
Karl Anthony Towns has checked his ego and his attitude at the door. Anthony Edwards is nearing face of the league status at 22 years young. The only thing we can find to report on today is Jaden McDaniels lack of offensive growth and lackadaisical effort at times. Unfortunately, if this trend continues, we may have to shut down the network. Let’s hope so.

This has been another report from The Doom And Gloom Network. Brian signing off.

Naz is fabulous in his role but don't get carried away with thinking he can replace KAT. If he did on a regular basis he'd look like another player.

The Spurs aren't a good team which made Naz look all the better. He's the perfect 6th man scorer off the bench. In that role I couldn't be happier with him.

I'm really proud of him and how he has developed his body and game since day one. He is a true role model for young players coming up. Now if Jaylen McDaniels can follow in his footsteps.

Dikembe Mutombo and Ben Wallace have each won the DPOY award a record four times.

Rudy Gobert and Dwight Howard have won the award three times.

Rudy is a shoe-in for #4 this year. If he keeps it up next year, he may be ahead of Mutmbo .. in years where the rules have made it the hardest to play defense.

Yeah. Similar. I would say Rudy is the better of the two.

I would argue Rudy’s are even more impressive for two reasons.

1. The speed and style of the game has changed to more 3 point shooting and more pace. For Rudy to have to run back, defend in space, and recover to the basket, takes a lot or more energy and judgment.

2. Rudy does shot block, but he doesn’t need to. Rudy is one of if not the most prolific paint disturbers/disruptors in the history of the game. Guys just don’t want to attack against him. Those who do often alter their shot to avoid him. His very presence creates the basketball equivalent of happy feet. It is so pronounced that Rudy almost by himself generates a top 10 defense wherever he goes and whoever he plays with.
