I'm actually oddly optimistic going into the second half. We showed signs of life to close the 2nd that I'm hoping can carry over.

I think Nurkic staying in foul trouble is a big key.

Wolves 19 turnovers. A lot of the turnovers has to do with lack of offensive execution and just blindly pushing pace. Suns shot 56.3% for 3s. They shot 54.8% 1st game, 34.6 2nd game (but a lot higher in the 1st half when it counts). Did we adjust our game plan at all? Is it just our players are dumb?

Probably shrinking the rotation for the playoffs, not expanding it

We have attempted 18 fewer shots than Phoenix. Just wild!

It would not be at all surprising to see all 4 of the higher seeds lose in the West, it's that tight.
In fact, I favor Phoenix and Dallas due to the way they finished the season.

I give Denver the highest odds of winning their series because of their consistency and maturity.

Lucky to be down just 13 with how bad we played but really should had cut it down to 9. Nurkic vs Gobert just not a good match up. I won't mind sitting swap out one of the bigs with Morris/NAW to start second half. Go smaller to stop the shooters

I don't like players chit chatting during timeouts the way Beal and Edwards just did.

Be like Jordan.
Until the final buzzer you are my enemy.

I will say again though. It will be rough but a Suns/Wolves series would be spicy as hell and great for the NBA.

Without Mike this year we would have been fighting Houston for the 10 seed.
He is that important.

Can't secure a rebound and then give up an and-1. devastating.

2 more turnovers and 3 more 2nd chance points given up in the first 3 possessions of the half.

Well at least on July 1st we can finally trade Karl Anthony Towns.

Lets let him post up at the top of the key and shoot a long two.

It's games like this that remind me that we aren't true contenders.

They’re forcing the game far too much.

Jaden McDaniels offensive implosion may be the single biggest disappointment of the season.

Jaden has regressed this year offensively. He’s shooting but teams are, rightfully, just giving him that shot. Rudy is our best player right now.

Nearly 8 minutes in the penalty, we need to take advantage of that.
Rudy and Mike keeping the boat afloat while Kat keeps throwing rocks in it.

We get into the penalty and the brand managers promplty swallow their whistles.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
