We needed to get off to a strong start and being up by almost the end of q1 is a great sign considering we have been down by 42 points in total in q1 against Suns in our 3 league games.

Good start, keep the turnovers down.

Gobert, Towns and Jaden have been excellent.

He had a really bad play in game last year too. I had hoped that he would have gotten those jitters out of the way on Game 82.

Still a long series, and he gets better. For now, I’d like to see Mike do more of the decision-making.

The concerning thing is that these mistakes aren't jitters-related. It is just a continuation of the terrible decision-making that we have seen all season. Some on this forum have been hostile about me repeatedly calling it out, but it's been a serious problem all season that is rearing its ugly head against a defense that is designed to collapse on Anthony Edwards' drives.

At this point we have to figure out how to patch it rather than fix it. Ant has 3 turnovers and 2 fouls in the first quarter. This not how you lead your team in the playoffs.

We need a better version of Ant. He lost 2/3 balls really badly...

Mike has to improve his game too.

Naw I love u!

KAT needs to be more involved with the offense.

McDaniels and NAW really hustling!

We need to make up ground when they try to play their weak bench.

Towns has been great, a far cry from the mistakes we saw the last couple of games but we need his offense too.

He’s been totally under control and making the right plays.

Unfortunately, the only real answer would be functionally benching him against the starters (earlier in the game); Phoenix's bench squad is less dynamic defensively. Minnesota has done absolutely nothing to develop him as an off-ball scorer, despite him being MUCH more efficient in catch-and-shoot actions.

Damn, Anderson is already hurt? No bueno. He's definitely somebody you want to throw at KD.

Quick whistle on Jaden, was it Marc Davis? This dude needs to be investigated by the league for sports betting.

For those not watching this on FSN, JimPete is pretty frustrated with the uneven calls by Marc Davis.

So how do they not call contact Towns took, but they call that negligible touch vs Durant?!!

Jaden is playing like a mad man on defense against Booker.

If we play mature, we win this series. Turning the ball over and complaining and fouling like a bunch of chuckleheads will lose us the series.

KAT has easily been the best player for us so far. That week of practice is paying off.
