well, see what can happen when everybody plays like crap except Jefferson and one perimeter guy? We can actually be not blown out. Now just imagine if we had a consistent Foye to pair with Jefferson plus McCants for good measure...or maybe a shot blocker.

I CANT WAIT FOR THE RETURNNNNNNNNNNN OF FOYE!!!!!

When Foye returns, let's all agree to reset our record at 0-0 and see how we do with him.

Wittman needs to go up to Foye's knee and call it out. Talk about how it's not stepping up and being lazy. He needs to question its work ethic in public. I bet it would be 110 percent healed the next day.

Ratliff/Jefferson/Gomes/Brewer/Foye
Richard/Smith/Mccants/Telfair or jaric of the bench a good 9 man rotation

I doubt it. He'll still be hot and cold, but I REALLY want him to be consistent if that counts for anything.

Game

Post#136 » by drummerrob26 » Sat Jan 5, 2008 6:22 am

I think that since the beginning of the season guys have stepped up in this game or that game and have looked good in spurts but in the end it just doesnt click enough for us to win. The way I see foye can come back and it will definitely help, but until we get some decent officiating in any games it is really just tough to watch. I will never understand how as a referee you can look at a players name or jersey to decide if how you are going to call a game. Just like our announcers have been saying there have been a lot of bad calls and any call that is close never goes our way. I have gone to a lot of games this year and it is really just starting to take its toll on me as a fan of the timberwolves. I would love to put a video together of all of the bad calls in games and just sit down with some of the refs and show them just how worthless they are.

man maybe Foye is the missing piece..with foye being back maybe mccants opens up more and doesn't have to create as much...but then again bassy hasn't been doing a bad job at point

Wittman pointed out that Foye led all rookies in fourth quarter point ratio, and that we have lost several games that we led going into the fourth. I'm trying not to look at him as a savior, because that wouldn't be fair to put that level of expectation on a soph coming off months of injury, but man, do we need him to be a star. I think he has it in him. He wants the ball in his hands in the fourth, and we need somebody to help Al.

What's 4th quarter points ratio? Ratio of one's points scored in the 4th quarter to one's total points, or ratio of the points one scores in the 4th quarter to points scored by one's team in the 4th quarter?
