Weird that realgm's mock draft considers him a great jump shooter. hmm, maybe the Telfair comparison makes us assume he cannot shoot.

Or maybe its the fact that he cant shoot that makes us assume he cant shoot. He's shooting 19% from 3. 46% on 2 pointers. At least as of December, for the life of me i cant find any up to date stats.

IMO my issue is the lack of defense and mental leadership. Thats my big issue. I think shooting can be taught, but attitude is tough.

Oh im with you on that. I think shooting is still a problem for him and with the transition from Euro to NBA being tough enough, add on his "superstar" hype and his defense deficiencies and size and that is a package i'd like to avoid unless he falls to the Miami pick, then i may give him a shot.

If we go other than PG with the first pick, I would rather have Collison then Jennings with the miami pick. (*this is below other pg's that could be there, but just for an either-or argument)

I would vote for Monroe here, I think he could transition to SF (*Jeff Green did)

geez you guys are just mirroring the mocks...and come draft time we will all laugh at these current predictions. jeff teague is playing out of his mind right now....but can he play alongside our boy foye? we need a true point, and jennings gets my vote.

This is a pretty tough decision. What do we need more?? I think in the end I go with the 6'8" Aminu who has some real upside and adds much needed athleticism to our team.

I can't see Monroe being a good defender at the 3 and a big part of his game is with his back to the basket. He's got some perimeter skills, but I don't think he's a small forward.
