This match-up is gonna be great. The boys have enough depth to win the game at the third and fourth lines assuming Nash decides to finish a few opportunities.

This is a team! Knicks could learn a lot from hanging around the Rangers locker room.

The ONLY NY franchise to make the playoffs (sorry the Nets are not a NY franchise but an adopted child) is holding a 2-0 lead vs the Pens.

GREAT Game! OT win. Rangers definitely have the right game plan. Sit 2 guys on Crosby. Give no spacing and give every one the opportunity to rush the net.

rangers had to score twice to get 1 goal in ot. thats how u know the league has it out for them.

watch the first brossard shot, ref immediately waves it off before brossard even reacts, meaning he saw something but wanted to say no

Good teams find a way to win irregardless of how much it's stacked against them. The Rangers showed poise...and that's what you need to win on the road.

Traffic in front of the net is the key for guys like Nash, Richards, and St. Louis to bring the hammer. Notice the Pens will settle for slap shots. That never works for long in the NHL.

Meanwhile, I wonder in Boston how the crowd raining N-bombs for the poor Black Montreal player will affect the team?

im as big a ranger fan as they come, year after year its the same story. borderline calls go against us. nhl vs dolan. pens are the golden boys of the nhl. its gonna be next to impossible to beat them 4x

The respect the Rangers had for goalie Mason was shown in that line up handshake, one of the best traditions in sports

I wish Montreal could have closed out game 2 vs Boston

The Rangers get past Pitt, the Habs would be the team too face ... despite Lundqvist never playing well in Montreal. Thats how good Boston is.

I'm not looking past the Pens. They've always been an explosive team that can pile up bad angle goals in a heart beat...and they salivate once you take a penalty and give them the man advantage.

Last night, the Rangers raced out to a 2-0 lead. It took no time for the Pens to tie it up. The Rangers were THAT close to being down 0-1.

Expect Game 2 to be monumentally harder. The calls will NOT go the Rangers way. They NEED their penalty killing to be PERFECT.

Today, the ONLY NY team to make the playoffs so far, resumes it's quest for the Cup. NOW you may unleash your homerism.
