just a bad game, at least it wasnt a blow-out rangers can take away that they were able to tie the game being down 3 in the span of a few minutes so I guess thats a positive

Henrik is gonna have to be on the top of his game he hasnt been that great since going up 2-0

Lundquist has been average at best and tonight was awful. That second goal he gave up was terrible. Rangers just let the canadiens back in it like Pittsburgh did in game five of the last series. They need game 6 now so they don't have to go back to Montreal. Lundquist needs to play better. He is being outplayed by a guy who has played 12 nhl games total.
All-Time Draft

PG- Oscar Robertson/Bob Cousy
SG- Earl Monroe/James Harden/Dana Barros
SF- Billy Cunningham/Michael Finley/Chet Walker
PF- Elvin Hayes/Dolph Schayes/Tom Chambers/Danny Manning
C- Walt Bellamy/Neil Johnston/Darryl Dawkins

I'm not worried. Let's not forget Montreal is no slouch. They defeated the Bruins. This team knows how to dive. Rangers are an aggressive team and do not need to take the bait.

Game 6 in New York. Think the Rangers are going to come out on fire. Lundqvist will avenge that poor outing.

Lundqvist came up really small.

The Habs are such a disgrace. From coach to players.

Tough loss. Got to expect that Canadiens to fight hard though on the possible last game of their season. Hopefully we finish this in the Garden so the home crowd can congratulate them.

GOTTA be fair.

Goaltending EVERY night. Keep in mind, the lack of rest is a contributing factor when you consider, the Rangers goaltender averaged just under 2 goals during the FIVE game win streak that the Rangers went on...from being down 3-1 to Pittsburgh to going up 2-0 against Montreal. Lundqvst was bound to have an off night.

Also consider it's REALLY hard to win in Montreal. Rangers don't have great success there. I really don't like their chances IF they have to go there for game seven. We should be considered lucky, the Canadians who carry the better record, yielded TWO wins there when the Rangers raced out to a 2-0 lead.

Here's the silver lining. On the other side, Tokarsi ALSO had an awful game. Yielding FOUR goals. He's NEVER had to play this many games. He's due to have another lousy game because he's never played this much this long.

The Canadians are not the Expos. Historically, this IS the NY Yankees of the NHL. The last Canadian team to the win the Stanley Cup with TRULY rabid hockey fans.

Game 6, I expect Lundqvist to benefit from the rest he got in Game 5, plus today, and be READY for Thursday night.

Can't be mad at Hank for 1 stinker. I thought they should have had him available for the 3rd honestly. The man is a beast and if he should have a few bad nights in his 85 consecutive playoff starts then so be it. Because when that man is on, he is ON. Not a single goal tender in the league i'd rather have. Rangers as a team got outplayed.

Nash looked good though and that always a plus because he's a streaker for sure.

A James Dolan Owned Team is in the Finals?
