Pretty damn good deal for the Rangers! Very excited! Didn't give up too much for a huge upgrade. Gonna miss all three of those guys but this was a no-brainer. First move of the offseason that really upgraded the team.

i think this is pretty much the Rangers strategy the past 20 years but atleast this time it will definitely work
huh? this team the rangers have now is built completely different than teams in the past. almost everyone outside of gaborik richards and nash is a homegrown player or young over achiever. and this team was built from the ground up, having foundation players first then adding stars later (gaborik, then richards, then nash). completely different philosophy the last 5 years than the previous 15 or so and it shows.

Great deal for the Rangers;
While Brandon Dubinsky, Artem Anisimov ,Tim Erixon and the Rangers 2013 1st is a hefty price its no where near the sorts of return the Coats were asking for at the deadline last year, or even the rumors around the draft.
