Yotes tie 1-1 on a crazy half court goal.

They won't let us breathe. Whenever we get the puck they put pressure on us like they've got 6 players out there on the ice. Tippet better give them an earful in the locker room and get them pumped up for 2nd period. You can't keep getting dominated in shots 16-4 and expect to go far. Sooner or later it's gonna come back to haunt you.

We need to come out in 2nd period with urgency and a chip on our shoulders. We can't have another let down period because this time, we can easily be down 3-1 or 4-1 and game will be out of reach. Every team has weaknesses even the good once, so find Kings weakness and make them pay for it. Lets go Yotes!!!!

So many opportunities to score last few minutes and can't get nothing past Quick. Sure, he allows a half court goal but not point blank once.

Game over. Kings score empty netter and lead 4-1 with 30 seconds remaining.

The bad news: we have been absolutely manhandled by the Kings here.

The good news: Tippett is one of the best in the business to make the necessary adjustments for game 2.

Pathetic seeing 47-27 domination shots on goal for Kings. Yotes better fix this quick or we're looking at a sweep.

The interesting thing to me is, for about 98% of the game, the Kings were totally in control. Yet.... going into the final minutes, we were only down by 1 and were either down by 1 or tied the entire game (excluding the empty netter in the final seconds).

Not only that, but this has pretty much been the way every game has gone for us this entire postseason. I felt the Blackhawks and Predators controlled practically every game in their respective series and had the puck in our zone the majority of the time...... yet, somehow, we won both series. Hopefully, history repeats itself in this series and we can pull it out.

This should be an exciting series the rest of the way, but I'm still saying Coyotes in 6.
