It could happen. Matthews is a talent that could save the Coyotes franchise. He would literally be The Saviour.... if the Coyotes don't get him now. They might never again find such a saviour.

As much as I would LOVE to see him in a Coyotes uniform , I fear that the cost of getting him would be just too much .

I think that Toronto would want, and ask for

1- Oliver Ekman Larsson
2- Max Domi
3- Anthony Duclair
AND THEN ALSO
Both our 7th and 20th 1st round picks this year (( And possibly our 1st rounder next year))

And if that's the case , Then I personally think that it's TOO MUCH for us to give up .

Max Domi and Anthony Duclair were unbelievable for us last year, and they CLEARLY are our franchise building blocks going forward. They ARE THE FACE OF THE COYOTES!!!

Now , If we could get Matthews in return say,,,,,,,for,,,,,,,This package

1- OEL
2- Any one of these players Chipchura , Gordon , Vermette or Vitale
3- #7th Pick
4- #20th Pick
5- Our #1st round pick in 2017

Then I would be all in !!

So Toronto would be getting 3 first round picks , 1 Young Rising Star in OEL , and a Centerman of their choice .

That's a fair trade I believe, for BOTH TEAMS
