I was on the fence when I first heard today, but after a few hours, I like it. He's a very vocal leader, something that we've sorely lacked, and I'm sure he'll be ready to work his tail off this season for a shot at 500 on a contending team unlike in Phoenix.

At his salary, this is a zero risk/decent reward move. At the very least he'll give the press someone to talk to and leave Marleau alone.

I'm glad he landed somewhere. The guy is only 5 goals short of 500 and would've had it already if it wasn't for the stupid lockout.

I agree, he can't hurt the team. Now we just have to hope he can actually help.
