I must admit i didn't see this coming. Especially considering guys like Gomez and Briere got huge paydays this summer. I thought Marleau would want to test free agency next summer and get a big long term deal like those guys.

Well Marleau must really want to stay... glad we're keeping the core but after losing Toskala and Hannan, we havent made any moves at all. We're counting on big improvements from Clowe, Bernier, Vlasic, and Carle to name a few...
