they shouldn't be tanking though and JV should be able to figure out how to get a lineup of all nba defensive players to play some semblance of defense. i was fine with his extension but it's pretty troubling he hasnt been able to find some kind of defense that can just work consistently.

At the rate we're going, I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with the 6th pick, tbh.

Only the Rockets, Spurs, Pistons, Hornets and Magic are worse than us.

The sixth pick is definitely an opportunity to find an all star prospect. But the Nets need to cut the dead weight and players that NO LONGER have roles or fit these new Nets. Dinwiddie, Harris, DFS, Curry and O'Neal ALL have to go. I don't want them here and we can get some assets for DFS. Nets were stupid not trading Smith for picks at the deadline.

We can lose out, and landing at #6 would still be a bit of a stretch.

Defense is three quarters communication and effort, both of which are non existent right now.

Measurables alone can't build a good team defense. Houston rockets don't lack measurables.
