Lobs were str8 garbage

The sixes were fire from 3...

Maybe next gm they get a little cold?

But all in all, went how I expected, compete early but not enough to threaten

Vaughn won't do it, but...
Glue Curry to the bench. Give Sumner or Mills a shot.
More Johnson on Harden. His length gave Harden issues early
More Sharpe hard fouls on Embiid very early.

Dinwiddie was bad

Felt DFS disappeared after a while

No help from bench outside of Royce ain't helping either.

Agreed about Sumner.

Offer some speed threat with him

Quickly back to reality with that game. I thought we played really bad defense. The double team was not really the problem, but the closeouts were soft (or not there at all), but the rebounds really killed us. No way we can get a win, if we cant secure the ball after a stop.
On offense turnover killed us. Dinwiddie did not have a great game and philly defended the 3 well. I think we can be better defensively, but I have not much hope offensively. You can just see the limitations. Philly controlled the pace all game long. We have to play way faster and get more 3s up to have a shot

Will they keep shooting like this? I doubt it.

I can't get over Vaughn quitting down 16 with 5 minutes left. We probably have 3 games left in the season. We probably lose but we should be trying to wear down Harden + Embiid. Not let them rest more.

I can't believe elite coaches like Nurse and Udoka are available and we're rolling with Vaughn.

Sumner's disappearance from our rotation post trade will be one of the greatest mysteries of all time. I get that he made mistakes at times that got him bench by Vaughn, but he had plenty of positive moments and brings a real change of pace.

We're the Sixers on fire from three because of scheme or where they just got? Probably some of both... It's crazy how useless playoff Harden is from inside the arc. He just can't score within the three point arc and it's why he always struggles against good defenses...

They were just hot imo. I can see the strategy flipping and them guarding Embiid one on one and sticking to the shooters.

That is suicide. There is no one on the team that can guard him 1 on 1.

The point isn’t to stop Embiid per say. But it’s to prevent wide open 3’s since apparently we’re not equipped to close out on time.

Gotta hope Vaughn wanted to test this double strategy. We should just let Embiid go for 50 if he wants lock everyone else up. Who ever is guarding tucker should be the only one helping.

Philly might shoot better from 3 if they keep getting these looks. They were wide wide open. And these are good shooters.

Sixers won't shoot like this again. But our offense is still flawed.

Dinwiddie/DFS have just been terrible since they got here. Defense is not good enough.

I just don't see a pathway for us to extend this series past 5 games.

Hopefully we get one in Brooklyn.

It was a poor strategy and frankly the players' close outs were terrible as well.

Again, it is asinine to let one of the best 3pt shooting teams get wide open looks. Holding Embiid to 25 doesn't mean much when everyone else gets theirs.

I'd rather give Embiid contested twos instead of leaving Harden, Maxey and Harris wide open for practice threes

Still got hope we bring Udoka in as a so called assistant coach. When he would really be a co-coach.
