if we build a team that can play hard and compete every night, someone will get interested.

the stink of the KD/Kyrie era will wash away quickly if we play an exciting brand of basketball. with this young group i think we can.

Bridges should play the two, especially with all of our forwards

I would start Something like
PG - CamT (let him cook)
SG - Mikal
SF. - Johnson
PF - DFS or Oneale
C - Claxton

I'd prefer that Cam play off ball. Spencer Dinwiddie should start at PG. i really don't know where Ben Simmons fits on this team anymore.

My ideal is to pair Cam and Mikal as our 2/3 combo. Can Johnson play PF?

Cam Johnson can play the 2? Always thought he was strictly a 4.

don't worry. we have a wide variety of bar hopping snowbunnies in BKN for Mikal to choose from. He'll be in good hands out here.

The food is a lot better too :)

let me stop, i've never been to Arizona. I imagine you guys are heavy into BBQ

He will be fine with choosing from Manhattan women and jerk chicken with Pasta on Flatbush on a nightly basis. It’s going to be mentally tough considering it’s their first career trade but they will love it here.

i haven't had a good plate of jerk chicken and pasta in a minute. he's going to be living like a king out here.

I don’t think Nets fans realize we landed the top prime two wings defensively in the West.

Finney Smith and Bridges went at it multiple times in the Western Conference Finals. I’m sure both including Cam-J and Spencer will not take this whole “rebuild” talk lightly like these dudes can’t turn this into a winning situation. The Suns couldn’t be any worse until Cam Johnson returned and it ironically happened recently they started winning.

This current Nets team is reminding me of when Houston went for Jeremy Lin as a big signing and somehow landed Harden but Houston fans thought it was a piece for a rebuild. I look at Cam like Harden was right now in terms of role, non expectations, defense, etc.

Yes. Johnson is really good, can handle the ball a bit. Can play anywhere 2-4. Best at the 2/3 defensively though. He can guard 4s, but has had durability problems so best to have him defensively on perimeter. Reminds me of a PG lite

I think the Nets are going to shock a lot of people, but lets stay humble for now. Lots of work ahead to get all of these new pieces implemented.

I think Cam #1 is a lock to be a 25/5/3 player. It's just a matter of time.

I'm so geeked about Mikal, DFS and Cam #2. This team will reflect the culture of Brooklyn well.

Yes he can play the 4 just fine, but you need someone stronger for Giannis/Pascal/AD

Interesting. So it looks like Finney-Smith owns the 4 spot til further notice. Royce is more of a SF than PF.

Yeah, have to start Johnson, don’t want to lose him in RFA, talent wise he should be starting, Johnson is 2nd best talent behind Bridges now.

Where he would fit is his head was on straight would be at PG pushing the place so our guys can get out and run... Fat chance that ever happens :(

There is truly no excuse not to add a big man regardless of age or situation. Really isn’t.

I hope Sean isn’t that stupid. I’m watching this. We had enough to land even Muscala.

We'll have to see how the rotations will work out. We can always adjust the starters depending on match up, but I have little doubt that Cam II will see big mins

Johnson could end up better then Bridges, especially with more opportunity. This was supposed to be his breakout season moving to starting lineup before he got injured. Check out this game, my favorite regular season game ever, he killed the knicks, will fit right in

Also, Johnson has beef with a Julius Randle, will fit right in

Marks always leaves stuff half finished. I don't get it. I understand wanting to get under the tax bill but surely there was something that could have been done?

I like him already

Don't need 2 Cams to own the Knicks though, Cam Thomas is enough by himself, just ask the Knicks board.
