I'm giving Vaughn the benefit of the doubt for this one. Cam hurt his ankle and went to the locker room in the second quarter. He was clearly limping and never the same in the second half.

They played scared in the 4th. Too focused on the clock instead of just playing with energy and rhythm. They switch back to one man isos with 4 standing around waiting for a late pass and bailout shot.

I hate to be a constant contrarian, but I just looked at the team roster numbers. His 15 points a game isn't awesome, but on this team it's the third highest. And he's been very efficient, shooting 48/42.5/74%. Our two highest scorers average 21 points. The other three who have started are averaging 10-14 points. And of our 18 who have played, more than one game, Lonnie Walker is the only other who gives us double figure scoring (15). I accept that points are not all, but CJ is also an above average defender, particularly considering he has the body of a three and playing the four. His boards are a decent 5 per, and he even has a 2.5 to 1 ATO.

I believe we need to get better and have no problem with moving anyone to do so. In the meantime I personally will appreciate those keeping us from what we easily could become.
