there's only so much you can do at this point. Your team is in this position as the 6 seed because of the results pre-trade and the fact that you largely remained flat with a 14-17 record since. Extrapolate the post-trade games to a full season and you're not even sniffing the play-in.

It does say a lot that you kept in the game until the final few minutes, unlike the previous games where you ran out of fumes by the 3rd quarter. Just not enough weapons. Seeing Dinwiddie perform as he did further exacerbates those points, as frustrating as it is.

Claxton was a doofus for expressing emotion that can be treated as a taunt. Not the sole reason we lost but the 1st of many bonehead decisions by our team that's for sure

Spencer was garbage

Poor management and mismanagement. Simple as that. It is what it is. Dame probably wouldn’t want to play for Jacque Vaughn, so now what? Time to discuss the offseason wishes for this team because come Saturday the season will conclude.

Anyone who says were a bad team is wrong. There is plenty of talent on this team.

Dinwiddie cost us this game. Just like hes cost us several game this season.

Hes terrible on offense. And he holds the ball in the 4th. Even worse he freezes out Bridges. We simply can't win with Dinwiddie iso ball.

Vaugn does nothing to hold him accountable.

This team deserves to get swept. Sixers were terrible all game.

Also Claxton getting ejected killed us. He was our best player on offense all night.

I can't be overly frustrated with this team.

But Dinwiddie/DFS have been such massive dissapointments. That it hinders us from being even close to the team we could be.

Both were efficient offensive players in Dallas. And have basically fallen off a cliff. They are both horrific offensively. And it destroys our offense.

Looking to next season. I would look to trade both. They cost far too much to be so bad on offense.

And I honestly am looking forward to trying to bring back Simmons. Who is a good passer and great in transition. We saw plenty of flashes of that this season.

Give me

Simmoms/Cam T/Bridges/Cam J/Claxton as our starting 5.

I think we could be a decent playoff team. And better depending on the continued development of everyone.

Lastly, Vaughn's incessant need to double Embiid every posession has been idiotic.

The Sixers have shot lights out from 3 because the shots are wide open. Why is it better to give up Embiid 2s than 3 for everyone else?

We know Embiid gets tired after a while and he was clearly injured this game. Still we insisted on doubling him every time.

It makes NO SENSE. Close out on the shooters and make Embiid work for it. How many points can the guy realsitically score? Weve basically shut him down the whole series and keep losing. Because everybody else gets wide open shots at will.

And we can double him close to the rim sometimes. But just not constantly every time he touches the ball.
