I like DFS though. On the right team he can be very valuable guy who can lock tall guard or physical guy like Giannis. On a nice contract too.

Great tank game from our entire guard position. CamJ is an MVP of this game for me.

With a Bulls and Craptors win we gained some ground back.

My boy Kyrie ain't disappointing me. If Mavs can finish in top ten. I'm willing to send them anyone not named Bridges or Nic.

One day closer to Taylor Hendricks sweepstakes.

He needs to be on a contender. He should be gone this offseason

What's this with the Mavs? I don't think we have any dibs on their picks until 5 years down the line.

Is this just a scenario where they might be desperate if they make the playoffs for immediate help?

If so? Send them DFS back for the pick 8-)

TBH I think Cam is a better scorer than Jalen Green, but one team wisely knows they're a tanking team and the other is the Nets.

How can this team go hard vs heat then throw it away vs the magic?

This is why we pause on hyping this team, flawed as always

Didn't watch the game. Looks like the same old story looking at the box score. The forwards Cam J and DFS stinking it up again and Bridges being the only decent player on the floor.

This offseason Marks needs to make a phone call to CHI and start making trade offers for Zach Lavine. Everyone should be on the table except for Bridges and to a lesser extent Claxton.

I'm wary about Lavine at that contract with those knees

I am more wary about wasting Bridges' prime on this old and talentless team. If we are not committed to building around him, then Bridges should be traded this offseason. There is no point in keeping him around and ruining a rebuild.

I love how we just gave Kyrie and by extension KD away

Now we're yearning for Zach Lavine who his team can't get rid of fast enough, just to pay him the same amount as Kyrie

Can't make this **** up.

Zach is better investment than Kyrie.

Zach is younger and nowhere near as psychotic as Ky.

He will not try to be a player/GM/coach.

His offensive skillset is exactly what this team needs

Hell if we can also get Caruso who is a top 5 defensive guard, along with Claxton, this would be a top 5 defensive team

I'm not interested in LaVine, but Irving is a nutcase that destroyed this place and since he got to Dallas, the Mavericks have been in a freefall.

I know it sounds crazy, because I read the board. But maybe Dallas' free fall isn't all because of Kyrie. I, as has been obvious, have never believed that Dinwiddie and DFS are the problems they have been made out to be, herein, although both have shot threes poorly since they got here.

And I do not want to be accused of implying that Spencer is an all time great like Jason Kidd. But if you look at his assist numbers and assist to turnover ratio, they are almost exactly what the great one averaged. He also scores more at about the same efficiency. He's being blamed for the poor ball movement, but Royce is the only other who gives us at least three assists per game. KD and Kyrie together averaged about eleven.

Combine that with the exceptional and versatile defense DFS offers and perhaps the Mavs lost, and we gained, more than might be thought, considering the talent of Kyrie. When we "talk" of getting rid of everyone but Mikal we might be being a little myopic and impractical.

Getting rid of everyone not named Mikal is practical. We have good role players, but this team is not constructed to get the best out of them. We don't have a KD or a Kyrie that can get our shooters wide open looks every possession. We don't have a Luka Doncic or a Trae Young that can give Claxton free lobs. We need stars that can do more.
